Gareth Cook is a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist and the editor of the Ideas section of the Boston Sunday Globe. He was a science reporter at the Boston Globe from 2000 to 2007, and his reporting on stem cells was honored with the 2005 Pulitzer Prize in Explanatory Reporting. He was also the winner of the 2005 National Academies Communication Award, and his article for Wired, "Untangling the Mystery of the Inca," was selected for inclusion in Best American Science Writing, 2008. He has also worked as an editor or reporter for Foreign Policy, the Washington Monthly, US News & World Report, and the Boston Phoenix.
