Denise Grady, science writer for The New York Times and winner of the Victor Cohn Prize for Excellence in Medical Science Reporting

Alan Boyle, science editor for NBC News Digital (also known as MSNBC)

Christie Aschwanden, an award-winning freelance science writer and health columnist for the Washington Post
