Special guest speakers at the workshop will include David Corcoran, editor of the Science Times section of the New York Times, and David C. Cassidy, acclaimed author of biographies of Werner Heisenberg and Robert Oppenheimer and the playwright of Farm Hall.

We will soon be posting the daily schedule, which will include a special appearance by science historian David C. Cassidy. Though there are still openings left, we encourage you to apply soon.

We’ve accepted 30 people, leaving approximately 15 openings.

23 people are now enrolled in the workshop, so we are nearing half full. Please let us know if you applied and have not heard back.

Fifteen people have been given early acceptance into the workshop. We look forward to the next wave of applications. While there is no official deadline, we encourage you to apply early to ensure your choice of instructor and lodging at Inn of the Governors.

Applications are coming in at a steady pace. We’ll be responding to the first batch next week.

We are now taking applications for the 2014 workshop with Joel Achenbach, Sandra Blakeslee, Guy Gugliotta, George Johnson, and Michelle Nijhuis.

We are in the process of choosing next year’s instructors and will be making an announcement soon.

The next workshop will be May 5 to 10, 2014.
