We’re looking forward to seeing you all next week. For my talk on Thursday, “Writing the Reported Essay,” I’ll use these pieces as examples. — George Johnson

April 13, 2017 update

We’ve posted the class list. Just about everyone who applied by the end of February got their first choice of instructor. And most people after that got their second or third choice. Rest assured that there will be plenty of time during the workshop to interact with all of the instructors.

There are currently seven people on the waiting list. We had a record number of applications this year.

March 28, 2017 update

Please remember that April 1 is the last day you can reserve at Inn of the Governors for the discounted rate. There are five rooms left. You can call them at (800) 234-4534. Tell them you will be attending the Santa Fe Science Writing Workshop. They will ask for one night’s deposit by check or credit card to hold your room.

If you’ve decided to stay elsewhere or with a roommate at the hotel, please let us know, and be sure to send the commuter or lunch fee. Details are at http://sciwrite.org/costs.html

We still have a short waiting list for the workshop.

February 22, 2017 update

The workshop is full, at least for the time being, but we’re accepting applications for the waiting list. We almost always get a few cancellations, so we encourage you to apply. Because of the unprecedented demand, we’re considering holding a second workshop later this year.
